:: Cinematronics 1982 to 1984 Arcade game company. Used vector-beam technology. The company was going through bankruptcy during most of this period. - "Boxing Bugs" (junior programmer; lead developer was Jack Ritter). This game never made it out the door. - "Hovercraft" (co-programmer; lead developer was initially Jack Ritter). After Jack left the company, Earl completed development, but only a prototype was ever built. The game required a mirror system to simulate depth-of-vision effect (3-D), but this was too expensive and required careful collimation of the mirrors.

:: US Army 1984 to 1987 Okay, this was different! Earl was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC for most of this time.

:: Leland Corporation 1988 to 1991 Arcade game company. Used proprietary hardware. - "Super Off-Road" (co-programmer; lead developer was John Morgan) - "Brute Force" (contributing programmer; lead developers were Bob Skinner and Phil Sorger) - "Ataxx" (contributing programmer, lead developer was 'Medo' Moreno) - "Indy Heat" (contributing programmer, lead developers were John Morgan and Dave Sullivan)

:: Sega of America 1991 to 1993 Sega "Genesis" console system. - "Sonic Spinball" (programmer in a team of developers)

:: Alexandria, Inc. 1994 to 1996 During this period, company was acquired by CPTV and OddWorld was formed as a sister company. Later, Alexandria was discontinued. The company specialized in conversions to Sega "Genesis", Sega CD, and Nintendo console systems. - "Demolition Man" (programmer for conversion to Sega CD) - "Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster" (programmer for conversion to Sega CD).
During conversion, Alexandria was shut down, and Earl was hired to complete the conversion by Tachyon Studios, until they too closed. Earl was then contracted by InterPlay Productions to finish the game. With no support team, Earl had to develop tools to convert art to Sega CD format and movies to Cinepak format.

Earl no longer works in the game industry.
