Vidar began working at Avalanche Studios in early 2005, on the studios first AAA-title 'Just Cause'. He initially worked on quality improvement of out-sourced game assets as well as level design.

He moved on to the position of Character Artist, his character work on 'Just Cause' included the main character of the game, Rico Rodriguez (for all target platforms).

In 2007, Vidar worked on character creation and supervised out-sourcing studios for Just Cause 2.

Vidar later joined up at Rebellion UK, making characters for the game Shell Shock 2 for Eidos as well as several IP-pitches and game concepts.

He went on to work for Starbreeze Studios on two separate projects (one canceled - based on the Bourne-license) for EA, acting as senior character artist and later Lead 3D Artist for Syndicate, developed for and published by EA.

He is currently employed as a Senior Character Artist at newly founded ZeniMax Sweden MachineGames.
