Biography edit · view history
Hi, my name is David Stidolph and I worked (past tense) in the game industry for about 10 years.
My game programming experience is with the following companies:
Raven Software, Madison Wisconsin
Interlight, Tallahassee Florida
Magnet Studios, Georgetown Maryland
Spectrum Holobyte (Microprose), Alameda California
3DO, Redwood City California
Cyclone Studios, California
Origin, Austin Texas
Many of these companies involved projects that were terminated before they shipped. Some of the games I did ship are:
Shapeshifter by Raven Software
Star Trek Generations by Microprose
Meridian 59 by 3DO
Requiem by 3DO
I'm a software engineer and at each of these companies I have generally specialized in client side code and UI programming. I enjoyed working at these companies, but I quit the gaming scene and started making more money. Now I cannot afford to go back. :)
