Ariel started studying game development in college, taking the lead in the Game study group, focusing on Allegro library.

His first job on the field was as an intern for a school that decided to make a 3D educational game, where he learned shaders, particle system, collision, etc.

After this, he started working at Tectoy, a Brazilian gaming company that was developing the first national video game console Zeebo.

During that period he developed several games as a Game Developer, and as the company shut down, he started working at Glu Mobile.

While at Glu Mobile, also working as a Game Developer, he took part in the Blood and Glory team for both iterations of the game.

He started his own company with fellow ex coworkers named BitterByte, where they developed Kill All Zombies, a endless runner using the freemium model.

He then proceeded to work for Samsung as the Lead Developer for the GearVR Games for the Samsung Galaxy related products, developing Finding Monsters and Rock and Rails.

He currently works for Samsung.
