Originally from Chicago Illinois, DJ Alexander entered the game development world in 2016 working as a Datacenter Operations Specialist at Bungie Studios in Bellevue WA. DJ primarily supported the online functionality of Destiny and Bungie.net but also supported the studio's internal development systems. In 2017 Bungie Studios launched Destiny 2 where DJ was credited as a Datacenter Operations Specialist or DOC (Destiny Operations Center) Specialist.
In 2019 DJ joined the Network Operations Center at Nintendo of America as a Systems Administrator, supporting the Nintendo Development Portal, the Nintendo eShop, legacy systems including the 3DS and Wii-U, as well as other internal IT business systems.
DJ gained the majority of his technical experience outside the gaming industry and was previously employed by Amazon Web Services as a Network Scaling Engineer and the University of Washington as a Sr. IT Systems Engineer.
