James McDonagh started in the video game industry working as a lowly tech support assistant at Ubisoft, before being promoted to Assistant producer, then full Producer.
Jim produced Football World Manager 98 and 2000 with Caffeine Studios and also was assigned to produce In Cold Blood and Gold and Glory: The Road to El Dorado, two PC adventure titles from Revolution Software. He was promoted to Content Manager for Gameloft UK (Ubisoft's online gaming division) and worked in Guildford, England.
Jim also worked on the award-winning Republic: The Revolution before stepping into a position at Eidos to oversee the production of the Championship Manager series through four successive iterations including the highly regarded PS2 and PSP versions.
In March 2006, Jim joined NCsoft Europe in Brighton, England, as a 3rd Party Producer to work on an as-yet-unannounced project.
