CEO and producer, Eric Peterson has been in the computer games industry for several years. He wrote his first PC game in 1984, a text based adventure game called Quintown. He left the industry soon after finishing Quintown to attend South West Texas State University and received his B. A. in Broadcast Journalism in the Spring of 1990.
After a few years working in Radio and Television, Eric decided to get back to what he loved best, making games. He sought out his mentor Chris Roberts at Origin Systems and helped him finish Wing Commander 4, then began designing Privateer 2.
Eric left Origin to become one of the founders of Digital Anvil. While there, Eric negotiated several key deals including initial funding from Microsoft and American Micro Devices (AMD). In addition, Eric was a producer/designer of the hit game Starlancer, and the soon-to-be hit game Conquest: Frontier Wars.
When Digital Anvil was purchased by Microsoft, Eric left to start Fever Pitch Studios with the intent to make games of the highest quality with an attention to detail unparalleled in the industry. Fever Pitch's first endeavor was to see Conquest: Frontier Wars through to release.
In February 2003, Eric sold Fever Pitch to the Manchester, U.K. based Warthog Studios. Warthog: Texas provides Warthog a U.S. domestic presence and an expanded team of senior game developers.
Having enjoyed rave reviews with C:FW, Eric is now applying himself towards guiding new teams and projects.
