Developer Biography

Stephen is a classically trained artist, having studied illustration at Kingston University. He entered the games industry after answering an ad at the local job centre in 1994. He worked at Arc Developments for three years as a designer and then joined Rare in 1998. Since joining Rare he has worked on many titles including, Jet Force Gemini, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Viva PiƱata and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. He is currently responsible for the Art Production team at Rare and is heavily involved in the recruitment and training of artists.

His claim to fame is that he worked at Bob Godfrey films for many years and was part of the team nominated for an Oscar for Henry's Cat.
