Developer Biography
Ellen McLain is originally from Nashville, Tennessee. She was educated at The North Carolina School of the Arts and The New England Conservatory in Boston where she received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees with Honors in Music.
She is well known as an opera singer, and in the game industry she has voiced Overwatch in Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One and Half-Life 2: Episode Two, she's the British female announcer in Team Fortress 2, and she delivered the voice for GLaDOS and the turrets in Portal.
She is married to John Patrick Lowrie. Her name is often misspelled as Ellen McLane.
