Eugene Levy was born on December 17, 1946 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He has appeared in a variety of movies and starred in two of them (The Man with Samuel L. Jackson and Armed & Dangerous), but has been a supporting actor in many others, including the American Pie movies and has appeared alongside many other stars such as John Ritter in Stay Tuned, Steve Martin and Queen Latifah in Bringing Down the House among many more.
He has also been involved in two Canadian sketch comedy shows, Second City Toronto and SCTV. He has also received a Grammy in 2003 for his involvement in the movie, A Mighty Wind and five Canadian Comedy Awards and has received his own star on the Canadian Walk of Fame. As of May 3, 2008, he was awarded the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards for lifetime achievement.
