Biography edit · view history

Best known for designing Control at Remedy Games in 2019, Paul originally started out making small indie games in the Half-Life Source engine in his free time. His first Half-Life mod, Boxwar, was released in 2000 and garnered a positive response which encouraged him to continue following his passion of making games. However, due to a lack of game design schools, Paul went into studying 3d modeling and animation for film in 2001.

After working as a 3d environment artist on the feature film Barnyard in 2004, he returned to Seattle where he worked for Microsoft, developing multiple games for the Xbox platform including Shadowrun, Kinect Adventures, and later worked at Microsoft's 343 Industries where he crafted many of the campaign levels for Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians.
