Developer Biography

Kai has started working in the games industry in 1997 as composer and sound designer for Piranha Bytes. He stayed with the company throughout the entire Gothic series (except "Arcania" where he wasn't on) and contributed music, sound and visual effects. He also created some of the in-house development tools. After having finished his audio work on Risen in 2009, Kai has co-founded the company Nevigo, that produces development tools and middleware for videogames and related industries.

Kai is very interested in story-driven and transmedia projects. He speaks frequently on industry events.
