Tom Barlow is an art director who has worked in the role of Studio Art Director at Jam City since 2019.
He graduated from ArtCenter College of Design in 1993 with a degree in Illustration. From 1994 he worked at Disney Interactive, becoming a Senior Artist in 1998. At Disney, Tom performed concept art, graphic design, UI, background painting and character design for a number of Disney video games and cd/rom titles. He also performed art direction for external development during those years. Tom left Disney in 2000 to join Insomniac Games with his first role at the company being that of Environment Artist. He Contributed to all major Insomniac Games from 2001 to 2019, including the Ratchet and Clank series, Resistance, Sunset Overdrive and the critically acclaimed Spider-Man PS4. He was promoted to Senior Environment Artist in 2006. Tom joined Jam City as Studio Art Director in 2019. Currently at Jam City, Tom is currently managing and directing two art teams at the Culver City location.
