Michael Vargas's career in game development began in college, where he worked part time at Cat Daddy Games as a game developer. He continued full time after graduating, where he worked on twelve titles as a programmer at Cat Daddy Games, LLC: Golf Resort Tycoon, Golf Resort Tycoon 2, Ski Resort Tycoon, Ski Resort Tycoon 2, Skate Park Tycoon, Casino Mogul, Ultimate Paintbrawl 3, Snowboard Park Tycoon, Skateboard Park Tycoon World Tour 2003, Civil War: The Game, Medieval Conquest Tycoon, and Schoolyard Sports.
He later joined Microsoft Game Studios, where he was a software developer creating game testing tools and supporting third-party titles (primarily for Rare Studios).
Michael is an active member of the independent game development community and continues to work on games in his spare time, primarily for mobile platforms such as iPhone and Windows Phone 7.
