Developer Biography
In 2001, Doug Oglesby was a 2D/3D Design Artist with Red Storm.
Quoted from Doug's biography on the Red Storm web site:
Life Before Red Storm
Hated high school. Went to college in art. Grew hair long. Majored in ceramics. Decided I was a lousy potter. Went to Mexico and did the Indiana Jones thing in an Aztec Pyramid. Danced with an old pre-Columbian dancer guy who could not be convinced that I wasn't a woman. Had great ice cream and seafood that later gave me hepatitis. Came back, changed major to art history. Got bored, dropped out. Met future wife, got degree in commercial art, moved to mountains and worked for insane dog-napper on crappy news rag. Got first check, moved to Raleigh and got job as artist for WRAL-TV. Developed taste for double mocha latte with half shot of raspberry syrup. Mmmm. Cut hair to shoulder length. Had baby, with assistance of wife. Got Emmy, two international broadcast awards, quit and got job with doomed game company. Escaped to Virtus Corporation before company collapse. Got real hair cut.
Free Time
Define "free time". Most non-work time I spend with my family (Darlene, Ian, and brand-new-bouncing-baby Benjamin), occasionally reading a book, going to the zoo, or writing stories. I am accused of Having a Life.
