Andrew is veteran of the "traditional" video games industry and has worked on many of current video games consoles. In his early career he designed and prototyped games for Codemasters. Most notably he was the co-designer of the best selling games Jonah Lomu Rugby, Colin McRae Rally and TOCA Touring Cars on the Playstation. He has worked as lead programmer on many projects for Attention To Detail, including Ducati Racing and Lego's Drome Racers. Most recently he has been a senior programmer and advisor for Headfirst Productions on a forthcoming action-adventure game.

Andrew received his D.Phil from York University in 1997 for his post-graduate thesis entitled "Towards Deeper Learning with Hand-Crafted Courseware." His doctoral research spanned user-interface design and educational psychology.
