Developer Biography

Ryan began his video game career in the early 1990's creating pixel animation for SNES, Genesis and PSX games with a group of contract artists in San Diego. After a few unsuccessful attempts to generate interest in original IP designs, the group went their separate ways and Ryan relocated to San Francisco.

For the next five years, Ryan worked on video post-production and interactive television prototypes for local telecoms as well as an obligatory 90's tenure with an internet startup.

After the dotcom crash, Ryan briefly returned to Southern California but was soon recruited as an animator at Griptonite, Inc.'s handheld studio in Washington. What followed was a journey from artist to production, including a stint as Development Director for Griptonite, which was later purchased by Glu Mobile.

After years at Griptonite/ Glu Mobile, Ryan moved on to production roles at other studios such as PopCap Games and Amazon Game Studios.
