Guillaume Descamps started to work as a game designer when he was 18 years old. He co-designed Asphalt Urban GT, the first episode of the successful Asphalt brand for Gameloft / Ubisoft (France) at 19 years old.
In 2005, being very interested by kids entertainment, he worked as a concept author for a new indie team DK Games (France), to produce their first game: My Little Flufties on PC and Nintendo DS.
In 2007 (23 years old), he helped the publisher Gost Publishing (which was responsible of My Little Flufties in France) to become a game development studio. The new company is called ZigZag Island, and has produced some games on Nintendo Wiii & DS for Deep Silver what he managed as a Creative Director and Producer.
In 2009, he accepted a new challenge and join Mindscape, an European publisher focused on licensed games. He is promoted to the position of Vice-President of Creative Development at the age of 25 years old. He supervised the gaming portfolio and launched new IPs as a Creative Director and Executive Producer. He also was responsible to set up and manage Punchers Impact, a 1st party studio specialized in digital games on PC, PS3 and Xbox360.
During year 2012, he participated to the development of some iOS & Android games with the indie team of CandyBox Studio. From Dec 2012 to Nov 2013, he left the video game industry for 1 year to work as a senior program manager at Oxylane.
Since Dec 2013, he is a producer at Ubisoft Montreal.
