Biography edit · view history

Yves Bourdic started working on games for Loriciel from January 1991 until April 1992. He is known for designing the scenario for the game Guardians. He sold the concept to the editor and designed and developed the game in 68K assembler on two different platforms. He also coordinated the development between the programmers for the Amstrad and DOS versions. He started working as a consultant for IT services in December 1986 and after the development of the game he continued in that area in May 1992. In 2012 he is still working as an IT security architect. His legacy in the games industry is the single game.

According to fellow Loriciel SA developer Jean‑Marc Lebourg, he did the scenario for Guardians and the nickname 'Big Sur' used in the credits refers to him instead of Yves.
