The 10,000 points barriers fall like ripe apples from a tree. And while this batch of fellow contributors reaching new milestones contains only two of us who even delivered by the time of the last update, the next batch will most definitely appear more crowded.

German contribution juggernaut Patrick Bregger recently breezed through the 30,000 points barrier, claiming the place of the #4 German along the way. Reaching #3 won't be as easy, but I'm sure he's already trying. When looking through his contributions of the year 2010 he really does remarkable work all over the place, but with a few numbers standing out: Patrick's habit of going through game magazines and adding the most obscure titles tested there saw him rise to the #2 spot of 2010 and the #4 spot of the all-time high score list for new games, as well as to the #1 contributor for MobyRanks this year. Furthermore, he added the incredible number of around 1,700 ad blurbs, twice as much as the second best ad-blurber of 2010 (havoc of smeg). I can only hope for him that most of these blurbs were Copy'n'Paste. :o) Finally, and just like I predicted when he reached 20,000 points, Patrick couldn't resist the call for Moby's dark side any more and became an approver meanwhile.

For Dutch video game professional vedder I won't write as much, cause he got a celebration news item when scoring 5,000 points already. How unfair!! ;o) His second 5K points took him roughly 15 months to achieve, making him the 55th member of the very exclusive 10,000 points club ever. Just like Patrick above, vedder's most remarkable contribution number is the amount of 629 new games added by now, earning him the title of #7 all-time contributor for game additions. A certain amount of those new games may be part of his successful effort to fully document the CDi games library. Furthermore, he has become a fearless approver who gets quite some work done in his personal battle fields of the dark side.

Kudos to both of you, and here's to 10K more. :o)

Roughly translated: I have man boobs!

Also congratulations to Patrick and in particular Vedder who finally got his own (sort of) milestone celebration.

Many of the ad blurbs I added are from old magazine ads and back cover scans on file which resist OCR. Worst ones to transcribe are Polish and Czech ones.

Thank you all for your kind words!
