Don't know why nobody thought of making this earlier, but then again not everybody knows that the DS's touch screen is also pressure-sensitive... Anyway, behold Colors!, a homebrew digital painting program that makes full use of the stylus and turns your DS into a portable sketchboard! The soft is freeware and runs on most flashcarts when DLDI patched (works fine on my R4). Perfect for budding artists on the go.

Wow the DS is pressure-sensitive. Nintendo never ceases to amaze me with how advanced there stuff is. Wonder why more games don't use this.

Probably because people would mash the screen too hard and break it.

My step-sister uses a fork on her DS for lack of the original stylus.

I hope Bob Sabiston's Fatbits Pocket Painter gets a release, too. Long time no update on that matter. DS homebrew's pretty impressive, some other guy turned his NDS into a GPS receiver to navigate with Google maps and Alexei Karpenko aka natrium42 builds and sells card kits to control robots and other peripherals with the DS. Neat!
