Approving during this week or even browsing entries is SLOW LIKE HELL. Is someone scrapping the site again?

Probably... Unless MG just became unusually popular all of a sudden.

There's been some discussion on the Discord about this, but basically, the database crashed, and we had to restart it from scratch (that was the multi-hour downtime). After we restarted it we've found the entire site is running very slowly, and we can't work out why. Tracy is working on it, though. So, uh, watch this space.

I don't believe anything was lost but time, fortunately.
Also, the site should be running at the usual speed, now. Sorry for the trouble.

And we THINK it's fixed, after another full reboot. Nothing has been lost, something weird was happening, and that's all we know :P Please post in here if you see it running slowly again, but as of right now (9.40 PT on Thursday) it's behaving!
