I was wondering if it's acceptable on Mobygames to copy game trivia from other sites such as fan sites, fan wikis, etc. with credit given to the source? Especially if those sources allow the use of their information on other sites by a Creative Commons license?

If so, what would be the best way to format this for a game on Mobygames?

i.e. Trivia trivia trivia Source: https://www.example.com/game/game.html ?

Thanks.

I think it should be okay, if the trivia item is clearly marked as a quote - e.g. with double quotes...

"The music in most levels consists of remixes of Beatles tunes and traditional African drum melodies. In episode 6, the music is a mixture of angry post-Brubeck jazz, whalesong recorded in Monterey Bay, and Chukchi throat singing." (Source: NonexistentGameWiki.org)

...or better yet, blockquote tags, as in the example below:

According to the NonexistentGameWiki.org:

The music in most levels consists of remixes of Beatles tunes and traditional African drum melodies. In episode 6, the music is a mixture of angry post-Brubeck jazz, whalesong recorded in Monterey Bay, and Chukchi throat singing.
