can anyone please tell me why my game keeps crashing

You didn't give us any info to go on. Plus, if you look on the left side of the keyboard you'll find a shift key, useful for making capital letters. And on the right side, all in a neat row, are the handy punctuation marks, including the very useful question mark. Used for asking questions. :)
Not to mention that you should have posted in the game forums, though we seem to be fairly loose about that.
So what version of Windows are you trying to play it on, and have you tried setting the compatibility mode?
