Anybody knows of a place where I can read what the practical consequences of Australian legislation (the lack of R18+ thing) are? Something like this section in the Wikipedia for the German case. I'm especially interested on whether the games without classification can be owned by adults or not, like in Germany.

Thanks!

You can own an RC (Refused Classification game, all R18+ games go in this group) but can't buy or sell it here (except for Western Australia, they are so backwards there). They will, however, get you on the grounds of copyright since it most likely pirated for you to have it.

Fingers crossed come April we will have R18+ here :).
