In the Letter to Santa topic on the GOG.com forum, somebody posted a wish for an "adult game section for adult games (anime, porn, Japanese with English subtitles)" and since then the thread took a detour... And since censorship in general, this "omg think of the children!" excuse, as well as an anti-sex attitude really piss me off, I eventually posted a message about it there, but that got me wondering something else: Are there any games that'd fit into that category and actually be decent games as well, not just there for shits and giggles or as interactive masturbation aids (as someone largely put it)? If you have any titles, post there (or here and I will, whichever works).

Night Slave. An excellent mecha action game that happens to have erotic cutscenes (which can be turned off).
Cobra Mission. Localized version only - a fun little RPG with open urban scenario and real-time battle element.
Yu-No. Adventure with branching gameplay and point-and-click interaction. Windows version was fan-translated recently.
These are among the very few hentai games out there that are actually good as games. There are some with good stories, but those are mostly visual novels, which I can't recommend because they have no gameplay.

The story in Yu-No is terrible though. But I agree that the mechanics are unique.

If one is playing a hentai game for its gameplay mechanics, one is missing the point entirely. :p
Besides, if a kid hasn't watched porn in his adolescence, I feel sorry for that kid for not having naughty friends. Puberty is a horrid, horrid phase. Even more horrid without porn.
Cobra Mission and Dragon Knight 4. Only hentai games I know where the hentai is a supporting element, not the primary motivator. Well, perhaps still one the driving motivations of the game. :p

There are many games (these are just the RPGs) that are built exactly like Cobra Mission and Dragon Knight 4 (though you probably meant the PC release of Dragon Knight 3 - DK4 is a tactical RPG that was never translated), i.e. they have significantly more gameplay than hentai. Most of them are pretty crappy, though.

Yeah, Knights of Xentar. Dunno why the hentai sub-genre was removed. That was pretty specific to identify adult+anime, a combination which we can't search for here.

I actually bought (for 3 DM!) and played the censored version of "Kinghts of Xentar" (as the cool kids call it) back in the day. Man, was I pissed when I discovered there was an actual version with boobies!
It was a decent RPG and some elements I think that would well fit todays RPGs (like "knowledge of an enemy" which increased damage)

No idea what you're seeing in the last, unless you mean that it implies what she's wearing is see-through, but it's not like you can actually see "skin". First two, I'll just say nice touch. Should probably be narrower and straighter to be what you're thinking, as it is it does look like a hand when you pay more attention, but yeah, doing it as shadows and in that position... Nice touch.
