We're getting it in two parts, as two separate films, without the trailers in between...

I'm watching it so I can see Rob Zombie's trailer.

Nooooooo, they're one of the best parts. It's not the same thing seeing the separate movies. :-(

Apparently it's the directors' decision - a petition was started but the European distributors apparently have no say in it. Weak!

I know the movie's being split in two, but are you SURE you're not getting the trailers? Maybe they play before each movie? (hopeful :)

this probably doesn't help; overall I thought it was pretty good (I seem to be the only one who liked Death Proof better than Planet Terror), although a lot of the fake dirt and scratches looked pretty fake (often didn't look like real scratches!)

Late release dates. More expensive. I know the quality of life and the food is better ... but ... jeeze is it worth it?

and the reason I think for low box office? exam/finals time for a lot of people. especially the target people.

I think it is the length. The bugger is like 3 1/2 hours. Thats a lotta horror movie. Drama epics and war movies can be that long, but slasher/horrow movies?
