Does anyone know if the difficulty of enemies or stats of characters have been changed from the original console version of Secret of Mana? I played this a lot on the SNES and found that there was little need to grind in order to stay on par with new areas but replaying it on the Switch I find myself over matched by new enemies every time I progress to a new region.
The dialogue seems a bit different too. Is this a translation of the Japanese version perhaps? I know that sometimes they would nerf games for their North American release during that era.
