The Bard's Tale is a series of fantasy role-playing games originally created by Interplay, and later by inXile Entertainment. Early installments of the series are pseudo-3D first-person RPGs with turn-based combat, inspired by Wizardry games but featuring physical exploration outside of the dungeons.
