Game Groups > Programming language: AMOS
AMOS was an extremely popular programming language for amateurs on the Amiga, derived from STOS on the Atari ST. Its command set and features made it ideal for making games, so many were made. AMOS was later challenged by Acid Software's Blitz Basic, with which even commercial games were made.
