Harley-Davidson Motor Company, also known as H-D, HD or simply Harley, is an American motorcycle manufacturer, founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1903 by William S. Harley and the Davidson brothers. Besides being known for its iconic motorcycles, namely the 1936 Knucklehead and the Fat Boy, the company also licenses and markets merchandise under the Harley-Davidson brand, such as apparel, toys, pinball machines and video games.
