Nelson and the Magic Cauldron
Description official description
Nelson and the Magic Cauldron is a comical 2D point & click adventure game. You are playing Nelson, who is traveling to the Unnamed Isle to accept the inheritance after his uncle's death. Unfortunately he has to find out that the only valuable possession is the eponymous magic cauldron, and he soon realizes that the local baron also seems to have an eye on it. So it is up to Nelson to foil his selfish plans by exploring the isle, talking to the isle's inhabitants and maybe finding the necessary ingredients to mix a potion to talk to his deceased uncle.
Controls follow the regular adventure scheme, with the exception that only the left mouse button is used, i.e. Nelson will either look at the object or use it directly. Inventory objects can be combined by drag'n'dropping them onto other objects or persons. Conversations usually have multiple choice dialogs, with the topics not disappearing to be able to recap the conversations later.
Almost all of the game's locations are accessible directly from the beginning by using the game's ingame map. The map can also be used as a quick travel system to quickly change locations. If desired the game can also highlight the hotspots of a scene.
