The ClueFinders: Math Adventures

This is an updated re-release of the original The ClueFinders: Math Adventures (1998). This version, dubbed version 2.0, is a new version of the game with an updated framework and changes to the plot elements. There are also changes to the cut-scenes and the activity sections. Most likely this is also the only version of the game released in Europe.

This release has redrawn spires for the characters Joni, Santiago, and LapTrap so they match the new style more closely as introduced in The ClueFinders: 5th Grade Adventures. The designs of all village suspects were also updated, with changes to the color of their outfits. The 1.0 version has a subplot where LapTrap gets to see all sorts of visions from the past. In this new version this part is scrapped entirely. The first version of the game also introduced the Yeti briefly at the end of the game, while in the second game the Yeti never appears and it is left open to speculation whether or not it existed.

There are changes to the way clues appear after completing an activity. In the first version of the game this was done using blue beams of light that then zap LapTrap. In the second version the villager from the activity tell the ClueFinders that they will share information in return for help. It then cuts to the clue stored on LapTrap, but no longer shows clues in a physical form.
