Description official description

Based on the 2003 Disney film of the same name, this game is designed with a blend of role-playing and action.

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl takes place in a large group of Caribbean islands during the golden age of piracy and high seas adventure.

The player takes command of a ship and its crew, swordfights with other captains, accepts daring quests, and chases rumours of dangers and riches.

Action takes place using an isometric view, and is split into two gameplay styles - exploration and battle.

Funny, hard and frustrating!

The Good
The music was the best part. Then I was split about liking the art or not. They did get the inspiration I think from the old art for the ride. So that was kind of cool. But then again the game is based on the movie and you play Jack, but it does not look like Jack, not even close. So that was a bit of a let down.

Frustrating game but something made you wanna get to the end anyway.

The Bad
The ship part, very frustrating gameplay.

The fight was also a bit frustrating, but it was OK.

The Bottom Line
Fun, good music, frustrating, but do try it and have your own opinion about it. If you're a fan of the movies then it might be a bit of a let down, depending on whether you want to play the movie's story; this is set before the movie, kind of.
