Trivia

Possible Dreamcast conversion

After Microsoft bought Access Software in 1999, they joined with Konami to develop a Links LS port for the Sega Dreamcast, with the possible names of Links LS or ESPN Links Golf, possibly using the engine in Links LS 2000. As with other games when the Dreamcast was announced to be discontinued, its development and release were cancelled.

Online servers

The game's online servers (which were hosted on MSN Gaming Zone) were shut down on 19 June 2006 in the wake of MSN Games' shift from "CD-ROM matchmaking service" to casual online games.
