At the end of the first game, Atrus, the central character, asked for help to track down his wife, Catherine, who was trapped on another world. As Riven begins, you're transported to that world, a string of five islands called Riven. Atrus warns you that a higher power is involved in Catherine's disappearance before leaving you to explore your surroundings and unravel the many mysteries.
Enter a deceptively beautiful world torn apart by timeless, unresolved conflicts where secrets lie hidden at every turn. . . and nothing is as it seems. You must search. You must explore. Comienzas donde terminaba Myst. Atrus, el padre de los dos hijos de Myst, tiene otra misi贸n para ti: rescatar a su esposa de las garras de su padre Gehn. y encerrarlo para siempre en uno de esos libros trampa de Myst.
Tu b煤squeda tiene lugar en Riven. un hermoso mundo creado por Gehn siguiendo la tradici贸n de sus ancestros.
Riven es una colecci贸n de peque帽as islas unidas por pasarelas, tranv铆as a茅reos y mini submarinos pero al contrario de Myst, estas islas tienen habitantes humanos.
Los dos puzzles principales del juego requieren la resoluci贸n previa de muchos mini problemas que a su vez pasan por la observaci贸n detenida de los habitantes de Riven. los colores y su 煤nico sistema de numeraci贸n.
