SEGA Mega Drive Classics / SEGA Genesis Classics

SEGA Mega Drive Classics (titled SEGA Genesis Classics in North America) is a multi–genre compilation of classic titles originally released on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis platform. Initially launched in “volumes” from mid-2010 to 2012, the first volume for Windows debuted on June 1, 2010, with subsequent volumes following through early 2012. 60 titles - including beat ’em ups, platformers, shooters, puzzlers, and RPGs - are packaged across these editions.

The collection provides emulated versions of the original games and introduces modern user conveniences such as save‑state functionality, rewind features, keyboard configuration, and (in select titles) multiplayer support. On PC, the offerings were released as Volume 1 in June 2010, followed by Volumes 2 through 5 over the next two years. In 2018, Sega consolidated the series into a single compilation.
