Description
Basketball is a dedicated handheld that features a LED display with a pre-painted basketball court. LED lights show the locations of the players and a score field at the bottom displays the current remaining time or score. There are two difficulties and the player uses the arrow buttons to move the players around the field. The player is on offense and must score as many points as possible within 24 seconds. A total game lasts 10 minutes and is further divided into four quarters. There are two difficulty levels. The player can play against another player, but this is using hot-seat, where players take turns playing a quarter for the offensive and the defensive is done by the computer. In the Classic Basketball re-release it's possible to score a 3-pointer, this is not the case in the original. The re-release also uses LCD for the display rather than LED.
