Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition is an updated re-release of all the Age of Empires III content:
Unique to this release are the overhauled graphics, crossplay between the Windows and Windows Apps versions through a server-based multiplayer system, 2 new civilizations (Inca and Swedes), edited campaigns and original native civilizations, new game modes, enhanced soundtrack, and other tweaks. The new game balancing is heavily based on the fan-made ESOC patch.
