Mary-Kate & Ashley's: Dance Party of the Century

Mary-Kate & Ashley's: Dance Party Of The Century is a title that aims to show kids how to perform dance moves from various eras. It also has tips for hosting a themed party with ideas for appropriate food, invitations and party games. Also present are some single player mini games.
Everything here is mouse controlled, the sections are all introduced by either Ashley Olsen or Mary-Kate Olsen and all the dance moves are demonstrated by one or both of them.

The activities/games on the disc are;* Dance Class: This is the section that has dance moves from different eras, here you will find; + 1920's - The Charleston + 1940's - The Mambo + 1950's - The Jitterbug + 1960's - The Twist + 1970's - Disco + 1980's - Western Line Dancing + 1990's - Vogue + 2000's - Hip Hop Freestyle Each dance has either Ashley Olsen, Mary-Kate Olsen or both dancing in a small central screen to an appropriate tune. Beneath the dance window are video-like controls which allow the player to pause, stop, play, fast forward and rewind the action. Also on the screen is a separate slow motion button and a 'Fabulous Footwork' button which changes the dance screen for a series of still photographs which are highlighted as they appear in the dance.

• Name That Dance: The player is presented with a screen covered in footprints. Some of these are highlighted in a sequence that represents a set of dance steps from the dance eras listed above and the player has to guess which. This is a timed puzzle but it is just for fun as the score is not recorded.
• Name That Danceable Tune: This is a two part, timed game. When selected the player hears a tune which comes from one of Mary-Kate and Ashley's television shows, their first task is to guess the title of the tune from five or six options shown on screen. Once the correct title has been selected the second part of the game is to guess which video featured the song from three possible options. Both parts of the game are timed and making an incorrect choice affects the score but it's all just for fun as the score is not recorded and there's ample time to select all options. Once the correct video title has been selected the player is treated to some still photographs from it,
• Let's Have A Dance Party!: The player selects one of the dance eras and is presented with themed recipes, invitations, menu cards, decorations & costumes and a printable scrapbook.
• Dress Up To Dance: This is a dress-up game. In the centre of the screen are portrait pictures of Mary-Kate and Ashley and on the extreme left and right are dress up options hats, hair, necklaces etc. Along the bottom of the screen is a bar showing all the dance eras, as the player selects a different era the dress up options change. The player dresses the girls by dragging an item into place, items from different eras can be combined.
• Scrambled Eras: Another 'just for fun' timed puzzle. Here the payer is presented with a screen of objects that float around and overlap each other. At the bottom of the screen is one of the featured dance eras and the player's task is to select all those which do not belong to that period.

Even when the 'install all game files' option is chosen the CD must be in the drive for the game to play.
