Restricted Area
- Restricted Area (2023 on Windows)
Description official descriptions
The year is 2083, and the world is no longer the way it was before. Huge cities, surrounded by a heavy fog, populated by assassins, robots, and mutants - this is the future of mankind. After a prolonged cold war, the might on the Earth became concentrated in the hands of seven mega-corporations. Those corporations are fighting each other, and no means are dirty enough for them. They hire hackers to destroy security systems of hostile corporations: thieves to steal valuable documents; mercenaries to kill those who stand in their way.
You are cast into this world and are able to choose one of the four available characters to play. The four characters are: a mercenary, a yakuza fighter, a female hacker, and a female user of psionic technique. Each character has his/her own background story, and while playing the game as one of the characters, you encounter others as NPCs.
Restricted Area is an action RPG. The game is heavy on combat, in which you can equip various weapons (melee weapons, different types of guns, such as for example plasma rifles, etc.) and fight using physical attacks or psionic "spells". You can also develop your characters' skills of various kinds, and make decisions during conversations that will influence the course of the game.
