Kirikou

Kirikou is a 2D side-scrolling platform game based on the 1998 French animated movie Kirikou et la Sorcière. Players guide the small boy Kirikou through nine levels as he sets out to confront Karaba the sorceress and free the village warriors. Kirikou explores the environments, attacks opponents with a knife and collects objects. Levels have a lot of verticality and platforms are connected through ladders. Each level has a set amount of objects to collect, also shown in the HUD, but levels can be completed by reaching the exit as collecting them is not a requirement to progress. After each level a password is provided.
