Description

The Golf is halfway between arcade and realism, closer to Nintendo's Golf than Artdink's full golf career simulator Double Eagle, which was released later the same year.

In this game, you can embark solo on three different tournaments versus AI players, play a match against a human opponent, or bet against up to three other human players in a Skins Game.

The actual gameplay is split into two different screens: you start from a top-down perspective where you can see the whole course, which gives you the opportunity to swivel your player around towards where you want the ball to go, followed by a 3D-like third-person view where you actually aim and hit the ball, with a classic power meter. Other elements will affect the ball's trajectory, such as the wind's direction and strength, as well as the curvature of the ground. You will also have to watch out for trees, sand bunkers and trees.
