Description

Smuggler's Cove is a text adventure game in which you are a top agent for the Royal Duchy in the year 1753. You find a logbook of the cutter, which was captained by the ruthless pirate Blackbeard, washed up at Daymer Cove. The log tells you that Blackbeard's hoard may be hidden in a complex of caves on the north Cornish coast. You climb through the only known entrance high up in the cliffs but you slip and fall twenty feet to the cave floor. Now you have to find the treasure and a way out. The best way to do this is to score the maximum points by using the best route.

The player inputs all actions via VERB NOUN commands (example: TAKE HAMMER), but it also accept complex, complete sentence commands like "UNLOCK DOOR WITH KEY". Directions can be abbreviated (e.g: N/S/E/W/U/D). It also supports Save/Load functions.
