This game is an enhanced port of the Wii game, Sonic Colors (Colours in PAL regions).
In addition to redone graphics and increased framerate, this re-release has other features: the Rival Rush mode, where players race Sonic's metallic clone, Metal Sonic, on certain stages, customisation options for Sonic (shoes, boost aura etc), the Jade Wisp, which debuted in Team Sonic Racing, and additional language localisations that weren't present in the original version.
This re-release doesn't feature any content from the Nintendo DS version of the game and is otherwise identical to the original Wii version, outside of above-mentioned changes.
