Ghetto Blaster has the best opening screen of any game I have seen (...). The tape turns in the ghettoblaster as the music plays the VU meter dances up and down just as the real thing. Ghettoblaster gives the same high standard of graphics and sound of Bozo and Seaside Special but the gameplay is much more challenging.

There are some superb original touches to this game that gives it high immediate appeal. Both sound and graphics are great and enforce this hook, but due to the lack of a true scoring system I can't see myself boppin' back it to that often.

Das Spiel besticht durch seine witzige Handlung und die rhythmische Musik. Die Motivation hält auch lange an, da es recht schwierig ist, innerhalb des Zeitlimits alle zehn Bänder abzuliefern, ohne daß der Blaster kaputt geht, oder Rodney gar Opfer eines umherirrenden Psycho-Killers wird. Fazit: Very groovy!
