Description
Exodus is a clone of the C16 game Exorcist. The player controls Sparkie, a gold star trapped in the Dungeon Dimensions by an evil wizard. Instead of collecting pills, Sparkie's ability to light up the walls lets him escape rooms full of ghosts. Rooms are connected, forming a maze where rooms can be revisited.
Sparkie is controlled using the arrow keys and the Space key to shoot enemies. Instead of a numeric life indicator, a health status is used. It is reduced after an enemy hit, but also regenerates progressing through the game. Bonus items can be collected to make Sparkie move faster or shoot enemies.
The shareware version limits the game to half of the rooms and half of enemies.
