The Following Instructions Have Been Issued To All Commandos

ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT THE WORLD'S DESTRUCTION.

The universe teeters on the brink of total annihilation at the hands of the vile alien war monger, Red Falcon. Earth's only hope rests with you, a courageous member of the Special Forces Elite Commando Squad.

This is the ultimate test for the ultimate guerilla warrior. And if you survive, Earth survives.

HOW TO CLIP RED FALCON'S WINGS.

First, press the ON/START Switch to bring Mad Dog into Red Falcon's Death Trap Arena. After Mad Dog appears, armed and ready to duel with the aliens, press the ON/START Switch again to commence the attack.

Mad Dog will begin his defense of the world with 3 lives to spare. Every time he's hit by an alien cannon shell or touched by one of Red Falcon's hideous guards, he'll lose a life.

To keep the "Dogster" from biting the dust, you must maneuver him to the left and right, while firing his Rapid-Blasting Machine Gun at the onslaught of oncoming aliens.

The world will be saved only after Mad Dog survives 3 Falcon Stages, each one more deadly than its predecessor. At the end of each stage there's a Falcon Phaso-Sensor that must be destroyed before you can press forward.

A final note: Before you send Mad Dog off on his mission, your last score will be displayed on the screen. To erase your last score or clear the screen, press the Off Switch.

Note: After changing batteries, press the All Clear Key to clear the screen.
