Billabong Racers

Billabong Racers is an arcade go-kart racing game with animals as drivers, similar to Wacky Wheels or Skunny Kart. It uses high-resolution 3D rendered characters and features eight different drivers, four tracks, an interactive tutorial and three difficulty levels. To win a race, the player needs to finish in the top four and collect 20 mushrooms that are scattered across the track. There are various powerups which include weapons to be used against competitors, and special areas like jump pads. The karts can also jump on their own to get over obstacles.

Billabong is an Australian concept denoting a dried part of a riverbed where water only returns during floods. The game characters include animals specific to Australia, such as a koala and a kangaroo.

Billabong Racers was created with the DIV Games Studio development suite and released as freeware.
