Description official description
Long ago, back in the days of cavemen and dinosaurs, there was a land called Og. In this land, hungry one-eyed cavemen, called Trogs, loved the taste of eggs. However, four Dino-Mites, Spike, Bloop, Rex and Gwen, were determined to rescue the eggs from certain doom!
Up to four (or just Spike and Bloop in the home conversions) can play in a race to gather up the Trog eggs as quickly as possible. The first player to get all eggs of their colour wins the round. Of course, Trogs also love the taste of Dino meat, and will use cavemen inventions such as fire and the wheel to catch them and gobble them up! Luckily, the Dinos can fight back - eating a pineapple will turn them into a monstrous T-Rex that can chow down on Trogs, while a hot tamale lets them breathe fire.

The Good
This game is a fun, funny and additive game for the whole family. Funny cartoon graphics with lots of colour and zip. The game play is straight forward, grab as many eggs (Pacman style) as you can and score points while doing so. In single player your dinosaur races against the computer generated bad guys, cavemen. In two player mode you also play against another dino, the winner getting a bonus!
Lots of silly fun and lots of levels, with silly little animations. For example: The cavemen bonk you on the head with a club and then eat you if they catch you! (You can punch them in the nose to get away!)The winner of the level does a funny little "end zone" dance.
Teleports to next levels, trip switches, and tacos that give you fire breath are some of the things you can collect. For ages 8-100!
The Bad
Mildly tedious and repetitive. Mostly while in single player mode. More fun if played with someone else. Sometimes the steering of characters is a bit wonky and irritating if it costs you a life or makes you loose the level.
The Bottom Line
Simple good solid fun game for everyone in the family.
Will make everyone smile.
Nice to have in a collection.

Trivia
Prototype
During the game development a prototype was created where the players didn't have a direct control over the dinosaurs. Instead they controlled a hand that could place bones on the game screen altering the path of the dinosaurs. The playtesters didn't like this control scheme and so it was scraped in favor of a more traditional one.
